Cancellation and Refund

It’s always sad when you have to cancel one of our services after you’ve booked. But to ensure that your disappointment is minimised and you have no nasty surprises, our fair Cancellation Policy is clearly explained here. Read it carefully and be sure you’ve understood it before booking. These policies supersede all other policies & are effective October 1st, 2019.

This section explains the cancellation fees levied for cancellation of our various services after booking, and the refund methods we use to execute refunds.

Indian Wildlife Safaris reserves the right to change the cancellation policy without assigning any reason. For latest cancellation terms, customers are advised to visit this page.

The cancellation policy for custom vacations will be the same as the policy imposed by our travel partners through whom the custom vacation has been arranged. In addition to this there will be an Indian Wildlife Safaris cancellation penalty payable. Because these vary according to the destination and the vendor used, please refer to the vacation terms contained in the itinerary document sent by email upon your vacation enquiry.

However no refund would be done in case of cancellation request received less than 30 days from time of commencement of proposed vacation.

In case of cancellation of tour due to natural calamity like floods, riots, protests, closure of park administration, cancellation/rescheduling of flights and trains, Indian Wildlife Safaris would not be liable to pay any refund.

Refund Method

Any refund due will be made by same method through which funds were received at the time of booking, within 2 weeks of cancellation. You can also opt to receive a credit note instead, which can be used as credit against other Tours or services. Under no circumstances will Indian Wildlife Safaris issue cash refund.

Please note that safaris once booked are non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-transferable. Therefore complete safaris costs would be deducted in case of cancellations.
